Sweet Snail Bedside Lamp
This is a handmade snail, with light protruding holes in his shell. He has been hand sculpted from stoneware clay, and hand glazed. The snail shell has hand sculpted mushrooms detail and has been finished with dried moss.
The snail sits on top of a mossy mushie plinth. The snail body just rests on the rim of the plinth, held in place with hidden grippy strips. This is how you change the light bulb.
The mossy plinth sits around the lamp base with a small outlet at the back for the cable. It has been finished with hand sculpted amanita mushrooms and dried moss.
He's not perfect, but he's full of character and completely unique. The snail lamp is my largest piece to date, he has been so much fun to make!
He comes with his light bulb and is ready to use.
